Seeing Paris, Shifting Perspectives: How Travel Expands the Lens for Every Client

They say travel broadens the mind—I'd argue it also sharpens the eye.
During my recent trip to Paris, I found myself wandering through gardens dotted with cherry blossoms and iron bridges layered with love locks, always with the Eiffel Tower peeking into frame like an old friend reminding me to look up.

This first shot, framed by a burst of springtime color, captures more than just Paris in bloom—it’s a reminder that beauty often lies in what surrounds the obvious. The Eiffel Tower is the icon, sure, but it’s the softness of those pink petals that makes it feel like poetry.

Then there’s the second image. A little more raw. Rusted rails, tangled locks, scratched initials—yet through that gritty frame, there she stands again: bold and unshaken.
It’s these juxtapositions that get me thinking not just about travel—but about storytelling. How a shift in perspective, a change of scenery, can completely reframe the way we experience a place—or a moment.

As a photographer, these are the experiences that fuel my creative engine. Every time I travel, I return with new angles—both literal and metaphorical—that find their way into the work I do for you.

Whether I’m capturing the raw, emotional honesty of a wedding day…
The confident elegance of a high school senior discovering their spotlight…
The empowered strength of a fitness transformation…
Or the quiet vulnerability of a boudoir session meant to honor self-love…

It’s this mindset—this way of seeing—that transforms a photo from just a picture into a piece of your story.

Travel reminds me that beauty isn’t just found in grand monuments or perfect light—it’s found in the cracks, the frames, the backgrounds, the unexpected. And that perspective doesn’t just stay in Paris. I bring it home with me. To every client. To every shoot. To every frame.

So if you’re planning a shoot—whether it's your wedding, your graduation, your personal brand, or your own journey of empowerment—know this:

I’m not just showing up with a camera.
I’m showing up with eyes wide open.
Because I’ve learned that when you travel the world, you also learn how to see the world—and you—more clearly.

Let’s create something beautiful together.
